Well, they're finally here: the trend colors you will see everywhere this fall! Keep in mind, though, that these are not meant to represent the exact colors themselves...artists, designers and manufacturers will take these colors and create products, in several hue variations, through fabrics, design, paint, accessories, etc. so that you get to play around to see how to make the color your own. And we will indeed play with these colors this fall! I've got my own variations of these colors coming out that will let you rock this trend in your home.
Here are some great examples from decorpad.com

This was a reality TV month for me: I ate at Girl & The Goat, ( Top Chef winner's restaurant in Chicago) where a stunningly black charred wrap around fireplace wall makes a perfect centerpiece and I attended Portland Fashion Week, where winner Seth Aaron Henderson, a Vancouver-based designer who won season 7 of "Project Runway," the TV fashion design competition series hooked up with SolarWorld, a solar-energy company, which has an outpost in Hillsboro, to created fashion inspired by green solar energy. "Solar is the New Black". I certainly dressed, appropiatly, in black, Also showing were "Project Runway" veterans Gordana Gehlhausen, Jay Nicholas Sario and Jonathan Joseph Peters, Seth's collection was a fun show stopper indeed, riding the soon to be "not trend" but staple green technology while Gordana, Jay, and Jonathan indulged us in trendy visions of dyed leather, crochet, and lating influence for 2011. Wait till you see the colorful latin influence I have planned for you to play with in spring of 2011!

Experts at Pantone say these will be the "up and coming" colors this fall. While they might look great on a napkin, a towel, or a sofa; our job is to spin our Devine POV (point of view) and make them live on your walls while effortlessly blending with all of your other colors. Think of wall color as the CEO of design; it can make other colors rich or bankrupt them. We temper our paint colors to act wisely, become rich and be charitable with others.

By the time March comes around we are ready to drop our winter blankets on the floor and kick them under the bed—out come the lightweight cotton linens. When the cold air becomes lukewarm, a spring color brigade emerges out of nowhere. New growth gets its marching orders from the sun and is sent forth to declare that things are about to do more than just heat up—they are about to reproduce and produce in full color! The first line of attack comes in, in fits and starts, with a strong mission to prepare the way for what is about to come—the guts and glory of summer and fall color. Watch around you as the “coup d’état” begins—subtlety, as if to soften the blow for winter’s bare backgrounds so they don’t feel attacked or dismayed.

Citrus Colors Make Their Way out of the Kitchen.
When we saw Reese Witherspoon out on the red carpet have her “stepping-out” moment wearing what looked like a delectable slice of lemon wedge as a dress, everyone went crazy over her fresh, new look, and the color.

I wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New year! Make this THE YEAR OF LIVING IN FULL COLOR! When it comes to color “they say”(who ever they are) that this year’s 2010 color darling is…bright yellow. Coming out of an intense year like we’ve had it doesn’t surprise me that everyone is hoping for a bright and sunny 2010. We all need to tie a yellow ribbon round the old Oak tree and bring our troops home. As far as I can tell, new design ideas in 2010 expand on themes we were introduced to last year with small twists. Fun descriptives combined to deliver the likes of Breathable Zen, ECO Chic, Refined Rustic, Clean Traditional, and Embellished Modern. The 2010 design trends are laced with the ideas of Turning Trash into Treasure and Rewind and Unwind.
