Devine Color yellow paint colors are true to their nature.
They range from natural sunlight to natural grains. They are served room temperature, warm, cool, or hot. Their purpose is to dish-out the right amount of yellow with red, green, and orange variations to make them the golden, bright, or warm yellow you are craving for your walls. Yellow is often the answer to light, bright, warm and happy rooms—that is, if you love yellow!
Devine Custard, Devine Shell, Devine Sand, Devine Maple, Devine Honey, Devine Oak, devinegreen: Chicken are creamy versions of yellow that soak into walls making them soft, warm, and embracing.
Devine Peanut, Devine Oat, Devine Encore, Devine Soiree, Devine Coqui, Devine Gecko, Devine Lemon Drop Beans, and Devine Plantain have fire-roasted qualities that also reflect variations of greens or reds.
Devine Ray, Devine Butter, Devine Cream, Devine Birch, Devine Manila, Devine Bamboo, Devine Bananas & Beans, devinegreen: Orchid, and Devine Gold are crisp sunlight yellows that deliver bright, sunshiny days.
Devine Teak, Devine Ale, Devine Straw, Devine Organza, devinegreen: Coyote, devinegreen: Poppy, and Devine Le Pot D’or are warm golden yellows that range from deep sunflower to amber waves of grain.

Hi Gretchen. You replied to my posting last October. I thought I would tell you the end of the story. Since our paint dillema in October we decided to remodel our newly inherited home. We love the coast and decided to make the home suitable for our long term needs and eventual retirement. I wanted to share how devine fit into our remodel. The remodel was extensive and required new walls and repairs to others...leading to the need to repaint every room. I pondered for a few months on just the right devine hues. I wanted warmth and it needed to blend well with my new flooring, tiles, cabinets...you get the idea. I read in your blog to "pick your neutrals". So, in the end I landed on Devine Sand and Devine Cashew for my neutrals. The deciding factor was that Cashew went wonderfully with my new tile used in the baths and kitchen backsplash. I then added Devine Reflection as an accent wall - it also was in honor of the ocean. I transitioned to Cashew in the baths and kitchen. In the bedroom I used Devine Custard with a Peanut accent wall because it went well with the new draperies I had made. In our entry hall I used Sand on the ceiling and walls, with an accent of Devine Cafe with Devine Gold Dust. And, because the journey started with Honey, and I continue to love yellow - our guest bedroom is in honey with whip on the ceiling. We stained our new doors and trim in cherry to blend with our new cherry wood floors. The contractors are still working, but we have finished all painting. It looks beautiful and mostly warm and inviting. Thank you for developing such a wonderful product. Who knew paint could make you so happy!

LOVE Devine Custard!!! Also try Devine Butter and Maple! They bring great warmth to those delicious stormy Oregon Coast days! Use the Delicate Sheen to reflect the most light! Send pictures or post on Facebook...would love to see it!

Hi Gretchen. We've recently inherited a beach house that is in need of redecorating. I love your yellows and painted the kitchen Devine Honey. The house is small and the kitchen opens out into the main living area. We have light fir window trim and will be installing wood floors in a similar shade. The coast here in Oregon can be dark in winter so I wanted the paint color to be bright and cheery. I was thinking of using Custard in the main living area. I like the contrast with the window trim. There is also a red brick fireplace in the room. Can you suggest colors that will complement the honey, window trim, and red brick? What do you think of the custard?
